Rafael Hotel Badalona is actually located near the coast of the Mediterranean Sea about a 15 minute train ride from Barcelona City Center. Because it was Easter Weekend, we had trouble finding a hotel last minute. We had a few adventures arriving to our destination, but I guess that is how is goes with public transportation and trying to travel inexpensively. From our hotel, we had about a 20 minute walk through Badalona town to the train station.
Our room was really nice and very modern. There was a glass wall that separated the bedroom from the bathroom. There were frosted glass doors for the shower and toilet, and a clear glass sink.
We took a windy, chilly walk on the beach Saturday night.
