Barcelona, Spain (Day 2)

After spending 2 hours in Sagrada Familia, we attended an English-speaking church in Barcelona. A missionary couple from California are working with the church along with many other Americans and people young and old from all over the world. We were so blessed to worship among so many Christians. There is strength in the Lord's people.
Ben kickin' it back in the sun while we wait for our lunch.
The Palau Nacional houses the National Art Museum of Catalunya with the Magic Fountains in front of it. Unfortunately we were aout 30 minutes after closing time, but we enjoyed the outside of the building. The Barcelona Olympic Stadium sits directly behind this building.
In the Parc de Montjuic, the 1992 Olympics were held here. This is the outside of the Olymic Stadium in Barcelona.

Another gorgeous sunny afternnoon wandering through the lush Botanical Gardens beside the Olympic Stadium.

18th century Montjuic Castle is on the summit of Montjuic and is now a military museum.
Looking over the Mediterranean Sea and the sea ports for all types of cargo including cruise ships. It was very, very windy.
What an amazing sight watching the storm roll in over Barcelona.
We enjoyed the cable car ride down from the castle since we walked a few miles uphill to reach the castle.
Bye bye Barcelona. We enjoyed a Bratwurst and Frankfurter at the Girona airport (about 1 hour bus ride from Barcelona).
What an incredible trip!
